We’re back in Paisley once again this October for the Paisley Halloween Festival 2022. This is our third year programming and producing the festival alongside Renfrewshire Council. This year’s theme is Heroes, Myths and Legends, so grab your cape and gather your superpowers!

Running from Thursday 27 – Saturday 29 October, this free event offers three nights of electrifying live performances and spine-chilling installations.

Between 6pm and 9pm each night, the streets will come alive with creeping spiders, other-worldly beings, a fire-breathing dragon and flying caped crusaders; all engaged in an exhilarating battle of good versus evil.

Visit the Paisley Is website for more details and to explore the exciting programme further.

Workshops with Local Artists

In the lead up to the festival, we’ve also been running lots of workshops with local community and school groups in and around Paisley. Brilliant local artists have been working with children and young people to create poems about their own heroes and tarot card inspired installations. They’ve also been busy making lots of spiders and a wonderfully creepy puppet for our Spider Lair!

Aerial circus and dance workshops have also been taking place. Leading Scottish aerial dance theatre company All or Nothing will incorporate these performers in their aerial show for the festival, whilst local performance group Megahertz are creating a community chorus of dancers as part of their walkabout dance piece.

It’s going to be spook-tacular!
