The Process
The Directors of Cirque Bijou and a Bristol based creative team of artists, set and lighting designers and filmmakers wrote a new show based on the seven deadly sins. Rehearsals were held at Cirque Bijou’s creation space and on site. Set building and scenic painting were produced on site.

Cirque Bijou’s production team liaised with the Council, event safety team from Stage Electrics, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance Service to produce health and safety and production plans for the show.

The Result
A unique show with a mix of circus, street theatre, film and music produced in St Nicholas Market, part of the Old City of Bristol, for 800 people, during one evening in October 2004.
