Space Cadets introduce Chancellor to technologies of the future... 14/02/08

                        

 

Cirque Bijou's Space Cadets were at The Watershed Media Centre this morning to welcome Alistair Darling, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, to the Watershed's new Pervasive Media Studio.  The robots greeted the Chancellor, escorted him around the site and waved him off at the end of his visit, attracting a flurry of media attention.  With their technological attire and their futuristic outlook, the stilt characters were a perfect addition to the opening of the new centre, which will house and nuture collaboration between innovators in new digital media.
