Development of 'Tightrope' continues with parkour and graffiti workshops 25/04/08

As part of the continuing development for the project 'Tightrope', Cirque Bijou, Theatre Is and Greenwich and Lewisham Young People's Theatre enlisted 11 Circomedia students to take part in parkour and graffiti workshops this week.

  

                   

The activity is part of the development of a circus theatre production based on an adaptation of Tightrope, a novel by the award winning author Gillian Cross. 

The team included Billy Alwen from Cirque Bijou, Directors Jeremy James (Greenwich and Lewisham Young People's Theatre) and Stuart Mullins (Theatre Is), author and dramaturg Anna Reynolds, graffiti artists Paul and Lee and and parkour practitioner James Dalby.
