SAAB launch in Geneva     27/02/06

 

Working closely with the award winning international event organiser, Jack Morton Worldwide, Cirque Bijou was commissioned to create a two-minute piece of original circus theatre for the live media launch of the Saab concept car, the Aero X.

 

In collaboration with Dutch comapny Corpus Acrobatics, Cirque Bijou created a beautiful piece of circus theatre about the journey of a young woman driving alone in an icy wilderness. The performance involved the manipulation of a female acrobat by three artists hidden underneath a white cloth. The artist appears float above the material as she moved through the air. The car is finally revealed at the end of her journey behind 2 metre high ice walls.
