Cirque Bijou show - New Year’s Eve – Cardiff Castle 05/01/08

Cardiff City Council's New Year celebration was tipped to be 'One of Britain's best New Year's Eve parties' by both the Guardian and the Telegraph in articles they published on 31st December. Cardiff Castle saw thousands fill the grounds to see in the New Year with Cirque Bijou's famous Fuse show. The show was followed by an explosive, high energy fireworks display which lit up the grounds. All was kindly captured by one member of the public who has posted the fireworks display on Youtube. Fire performers roamed the grounds enteraining the Welsh capital's public before another display launched into action to welcome in 2008 with a bang.

 In Leeds (also listed in the Guardian article), our much loved Helter Skelters and our very own fire troupe roamed the City Centre entertaining families at their teatime celebrations.
