Gandini Juggling are a group of virtuoso jugglers, considered by circus connoisseurs to be the crème de la crème of dextrous creativity. To celebrate a decade of exuberant juggling, they present a double bill choreographed by
long time collaborator Gill Clarke.

Duet
A new duet directed by John Paul Zaccarini (Company F/Z). Company founders Sean Gandini and Kati Ylä-Hokkala put a mirror to their work/life relationship, as lovers and juggling partners. Set to a series of romantic songs this is the Gandini’s most theatrical work.

“Somewhere between juggling and dance, this beautifully performed piece is light but resonant with a simple emotional pull and a lovely understated maturity.” Donald Hutera in the Times

Funded by London Arts Board

Quartet is an unashamed celebration of group juggling.
The current Gandini quartet is a tightly knit precision machine weaving complex patterns with balls, clubs and rings.

This piece takes colour as a starting point for 30 minutes of joyous virtuosity.

“Quartet, illustrates how skills can be worked into a breathtaking choreography to offer a show that is varied in tone and effect, funny and aesthetically delightful. The audience, myself included, were rapt!” Jackie Fletcher in The British Theatre Guide (2003)

Quartet was partly funded by a Science and Art Award from the Wellcome Trust.

“Poetry in motion.” The Independent

“No ordinary jugglers these, the Gandini’s are simply irresistible!” Scotland on Sunday

“…all you have to do is sit back and be amazed…” The Herald

“Somewhere between juggling and dance, this beautifully performed piece is light but resonant with a simple emotional pull and a lovely understated maturity.” The Times

“Gandini’s have hit a spot somewhere between street entertainment and dance performance that is new, exciting and stunning to behold.”
