Concept
Cirque Bijou’s aim is to create unique, creatively programmed, and exciting environments in which performers are given the support to perform at their very best and audiences can experience the many aspects the art form has to offer.

Event management
Cirque Bijou regularly manage and programme stages and street theatre and create large night time spectacles for events which include the EDF Energy Bristol Harbour Festival and the International Balloon Fiesta. The Company also develop, create, and programme community events which include the Lockleaze Festival, Bristol, and the Carnival project for The Swindon Festival.

This includes managing everything from theming and building stages, installing circus rigs, commissioning new work, on site logistics, creating costume making workshops in schools, and stage managing the acts.

Programming
Cirque Bijou have been heavily involved in the world of circus and street theatre for many years, our constant collaborations and performances mean that we have a comprehensive knowledge of performers across the UK and Europe and what they will need to perform at their very best. We also understand how to programme events to incorporate the many varied aspects of this exciting and innovative art form.
