This year Cirque Bijou will be returning to the leafy amphitheatre of Castle Park where they will be creating a huge HMS Bijou ship and marooned pirate encampment to present two days of thrilling cabaret performances from internationally renowned circus acts, dancers, and musical guests.

During the day Boothby Graffoe will be making a rare live appearance following successful shows on Radio 4, writing for Omid Djalili’s two award winning BBC series, touring with The Barenaked Ladies, and a critically acclaimed Spring tour off the back of his latest Album. Highlights also include ping pong juggling world record holder Rod Laver, Australian brother and sister Sibling Alliance with an exhilarating teeterboard act, winners of the ReStaged dance competition – Hype Dance Company, swinging trapeze sensation Maddy Hardwick and the fantastic saxophone phenomena Mr Woodnote. We will also be giving out prizes for the best dressed pirates in the crowd so dig out yer eye patch and shiver yer timbers to the circus stage!!
